All patients are seen by appointment. Appointments can be made in person at reception, by telephone or online via the above link.
Patients wishing to book appointments online need to obtain an internet booking registration form from the reception desk. Patients using this service are able to book, alter or cancel their appointments 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
To make an urgent or routine appointment by phone please use the designated appointments line 01509 263018. Appointment times vary, but in general morning appointments are available from 08:30 until 12:00 and afternoon appointments from 14:00 until 17:00 Monday to Friday.
We offer appointments up to 4 weeks in advance which you can arrange via our online services or telephone. Appointments can be made on the day by calling us at 08:00. Same day appointments consist of GP and Nurse appointments. We also offer, daily, a sit and wait clinic, usually in the morning and afternoon so we can offer a range of times. If you would like to see a specific GP we ask that you pre-book these appointments as we do not usually offer specific GP's on the day.

We offer routine appointments with a doctor within 48 hours. To see a specific doctor you may need to wait longer. Urgent appointments are available each day. We are also working with the Urgent Care Centre to provide urgent evening appointments at their clinic if we have no further urgent appointments to offer on the day. All minor illnesses will be seen by our nurse practitioner in the first instance who can prescribe for conditions such as tonsillitis, chest infections and urinary infections.
Surgeries and clinics will normally commence on time. While the doctors and nurses make every effort to keep to the booked appointment times, surgeries may run late depending on individual patients' needs. We will endeavour to inform you if, for any reason, your appointment is delayed.
When you arrive at the surgery for your appointment you can check in without the need to queue by using the Self-Check-in touch screen.
Any questions regarding how to make an appointment can be directed to one of the reception staff.
We offer telephone consultations which can be pre-booked through our receptionists. This is useful for patients who feel their problem does not need a ‘face to face' consultation. These are offered in the morning and afternoon however we do not give specific times that the Doctor will call.
In a number of cases it might be worth considering an appointment with a practice nurse rather than a doctor. Practice nurses are qualified to deal with many conditions and you may be seen more quickly. See our staff page for full details of what the nurses can offer.
If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
