Dr Satbir Jassal (m)
B Med Sci (Hons), BM, BS Nottingham 1984, DRCOG, DFSRH (FRT), Dip Pal Med, PGCME, FRCGP, FRCPCH Dr Jassal has worked at Bridge Street Medical Practice for over 30 years. He provides a full range of GP services including child health surveillance, full family planning services including Coil (IUCD) insertions and Nexplanon and removal. In addition he provides a minor surgery service and injections of joints and soft tissue. He has special interests in paediatrics, women's health, dermatology including dermoscopy, anticoagulation, erectile dysfunction, pain management and palliative care. He is a GP trainer and appraiser. He is the home office approved medical referee for Loughborough Crematorium. Dr Jassal is the Medical Director of Rainbows Children's Hospice. He is an executive member of the APPM. He had written several books and chapters on children’s palliative care. He lectures locally, nationally and internationally on children’s palliative care. In 2014 he was awarded a MBE by Her Majesty the Queen in the New Year’s honours list for services to medicine. |
