Dr Jassal has worked at Bridge Street Medical Practice for over 26 years. He provides a full range of GP services including child health surveillance, full family planning services including including Coil (IUCD) insertions and Nexplanon and removal. In addition he provides a minor surgery service and injections of joints and soft tissue.
He has special interests in paediatrics, women's health, dermatology including dermascopy, anticoagulation, erectile dysfunction, pain management and palliative care.
Dr Jassal is the Medical Director of Rainbows Children's Hospice. He holds and honorary consultant status at LOROS adult hospice and is lecturer at the University of Cardiff in palliative medicine. He is an executive member of the APPM. He had written several books and chapters on childrens palliative care. He lectures locally, nationally and internationally on childrens palliative care. In 2014 he was awarded a MBE by Her Majesty the Queen in the New Years honours list for services to medicine.
Dr Jassal is the child health lead for West Leicestershire CCG and palliative care lead for the East Midlands Stragesic Clinical Network.
He lives in Loughborough and is married with two children who are both at University.

Dr Peter Cannon has been a GP for 16 years having previously worked as a General Surgical Registrar with an interest in Breast surgery.
In addition to the full range of GP services his special interests are Occupational Health, Drug and alcohol misuse (he is the Royal College of General Practitioners' East Midlands Regional Lead for Substance Misuse). Homelessness [he sits on Charnwood Borough Council's Homelessness committee], Minor Surgery and local health politics (he sits on the GP Clinical Commissioning Group Board).

Dr Sarah Eveson has been a GP for 12 years having qualified at University College London Medical School.
She provides a full range of services including Child Health Surveillance, Family Planning Services, Antenatal and Postnatal care.
In addition to this she has a special interest in Ophthalmology, Women's Health and Psychiatry.
MBcHB MRCGP University of Leicester Medical School graduated in 2007 and has worked at Bridge Street Medical Practice since 2012. Dr McGreal became partner at Bridge Street in 2014, she works 8 sessions a week Monday to Thursday.
Dr McGreal has a background of acute/emergency medicine following a long career as a paramedic for EMAS before deciding to become a GP.
She now provides a full range of GP services but has an interest on musculoskeletal medicine, joint injections (hip and shoulder),drug and alcohol misuse and respiratory medicine.
Dr Borrill qualified as a GP in 2000 and has provided General Practice care in a variety of NHS and non-NHS settings over his career to-date. He continues to also support the local out of hour’s service; a service that makes sure all patients can access urgent GP care when day time clinics are closed, even at weekends and bank holidays.
He has, since graduation, gained significant post graduate qualifications in mental health, including a special interest in the health of the healthcare practitioner. He is a trained Mentor and provides support for fellow Doctors in their annual appraisal.
Here at Bridge Street Medical Practice he has taken the role of lead GP for Diabetes and with the help of the team will be helping patients with Diabetes achieve their best possible health outcomes. He is also bringing in new research projects to help both patients and doctors learn more about the best ways to help patients with their health issues.
He currently offers up to 8 NHS clinics per week, but can often be found on Wednesdays at the Leicester Royal Infirmary where he hosts a Podcast Show to help support GP education.

Laura is responsible for the staff, practice administration, practice finance and general smooth running of the surgery. She will be happy to hear your views and suggestions about the services provided at the surgery.

Tara is the practice's Senior Receptionist and is responsible for looking after the day to day running of reception
We have a number of reception and administration staff who deal with day to day queries, including:
Charlene manages patient referrals, practice correspondence and acts as a liaison between the surgery and the hospitals.
The midwives offer advice and support regarding pregnancy, delivery and postnatal care; weekly antenatal clinics. They can be contacted via reception.
The team carries out all aspects of nursing for those patients confined to their homes. Messages can be left for the district nurses via reception.
Physiotherapist - provides treatment for various conditions. Patients must be referred to this service by one of the doctors. Clinics held twice a week at the surgery.
Counsellors - offers help and support with emotional problems such as bereavement. Patients must be referred to this service by one of the doctors.
Drug Counsellor - offers help and support for those with drug addiction. Patients must be referred by one of the doctors. Clinic is held at the surgery on a Tuesday afternoon.
Alcohol Counsellor - offers help and support for those with alcohol addiction. Patients must be referred by one of the doctors. Clinic is held at the surgery on a Friday morning.
Audiologist - provides bi-weekly hearing test services. Patients must be referred by one of the doctors. Clinic is held at the surgery on a Monday afternoon.
