Community Midwives

The midwives offer advice and support regarding pregnancy, delivery and postnatal care; weekly antenatal clinics. They can be contacted via reception.

Community Nurses

The team carries out all aspects of nursing for those patients confined to their homes. Messages can be left for the district nurses via reception.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

Attached Staff

Physiotherapist - provides treatment for various conditions. Patients must be referred to this service by one of the doctors. Clinics held twice a week at the surgery.

Counsellors - offers help and support with emotional problems such as bereavement. Patients must be referred to this service by one of the doctors.

Drug Counsellor - offers help and support for those with drug addiction. Patients must be referred by one of the doctors. Clinic is held at the surgery on a Tuesday afternoon.

Alcohol Counsellor - offers help and support for those with alcohol addiction. Patients must be referred by one of the doctors. Clinic is held at the surgery on a Friday morning.

Audiologist - provides bi-weekly hearing test services. Patients must be referred by one of the doctors. Clinic is held at the surgery on a Monday afternoon.
