Dermatology - Skin problems

Ophthalmology - Conjunctivitis, Blepharitis, lumps and bumps

Community Midwives

Amanda Mitchell (f)

The midwives offer advice and support regarding pregnancy, delivery and postnatal care; weekly antenatal clinics. They can be contacted via reception.

Community Nurses

The team carries out all aspects of nursing for those patients confined to their homes. Messages can be left for the district nurses via reception.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

Attached Staff

Audiologist - Provides bi-weekly hearing test services. Patients must be referred by one of the doctors. Clinic is held at the surgery on a Monday afternoon.

Musculoskeletal specialists can deal with: 

All soft tissue injuries, sprains, strains or sports injuries 

Arthritis – any joint

Possible problems with muscles, ligaments, tendons or bone, eg tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, ankle sprains

Spinal pain including lower back pain, mid-back pain and neck pain

Spinal-related pain in arms or legs, including nerve symptoms, eg pins and needles or numbness

Changes to walking Post-orthopaedic surgery
