Welcome To Bridge Street Medical Practice

Patients’ needs are at the heart of everything we do, we endeavour to provide the best care we can and hope our website is easy to navigate, provides crucial information regarding our practice and other areas within the NHS. It has been designed to make it easy for you to gain instant access to the information you need. We offer typical GP and primary care services, including:

  • Routine and same-day appointments with GPs, nurses, physician associates and other clinicians

  • Child immunisations and chronic disease clinics

  • Prescription services and electronic prescription submissions

  • Online services via the NHS App or Patient Access (appointment booking, prescription orders, test results, records)

  • Home visits when medically necessary (for patients who are housebound)

  • Health advice and signposting for a range of common conditions

The practice also participates in community wellbeing activities, such as a food and wellbeing hub and local health promotion events.


🧑‍⚕️ Clinical Team

The practice is a training practice with a team that includes 3 GP partners and 3 salaried GPs, a retainer GP, trainee doctors, advanced clinical practitioners, physician associates, mental health practitioners, and other support staff.


📝 Registration

New patients can register at the practice if they live in the local area. Registration forms are available from reception or online, and photo ID plus proof of address are required.


📌 Additional Notes

  • The practice has been registered with NHS West Leicestershire and serves a list of several thousand patients.

  • A past Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection rated the practice “Good” overall (2016 report), noting effective care and patient trust.
