Did You Attend Your Appointment?

Last quarter, almost 10,000 minutes of appointment time was lost because patients did not attend (DNA) without letting us know in advance.

It is disappointing that this number has increased with 16% more appointments wasted compared with the previous quarter.

If you are unable to attend please let us know as soon as possible, so we can offer your appointment to another patient otherwise a DNA letter will be sent to you and added to your records.

We appreciate that your situation may be a one off due to unforeseen circumstances, so please call us so we can consider reasonable adjustments, to allow you to attend important appointments, we can also consider removing the letter from your medeical records.

Please help us to work with you to create better care for you. 

If you do not have good reason for not attending and not letting us know beforehand, the DNA letter we have sent will remain indefinitely, and if it continues to happen you risk no longer being a patient at Bridge Street Medical Practice, this runs in line with our practice DNA policy. Once you have received 3 DNA letters, we will then discuss this with our clinical team.
