A little information for you all regarding the flu process.
Bridge Street Medical Practice have to place an order for our Flu Vaccinations for patients 1 year in advanced, we have to predict how many of our patients will want to have their vaccination here at the practice.
Each year this number has declined as more of you are now using pharmacies for convenience. We also have to return any stock that has not been used by our patients and this is at a cost to the practice.
We have created our vaccination clinics for 2025 and we will be sending our links to you all to book your appointments in advance. The clinics are due to start on Wednesday 1st October 2025.
We will be contacting patients that do not have a mobile number to enable them to book an appointment separately.
We thank you all for your participation in our flu clinics and look forward to seeing you all in October. We are ready to vaccinate our patients for a healthier, stronger winter.
In Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland we offer walk-in vaccinations that can be accessed via the mobile vaccination unit, community pharmacies and specialist clinics.
Our walk-in clinics are able to vaccinate eligible people for a range of different vaccines.
